The object of the Crowthorne Carnival Association is twofold:

1. To foster community spirit by promoting every other year a Carnival for the benefit of all Crowthorne residents and the general public at large. To involve all local organizations wishing to participate thereby helping to harmonize the community spirit.
2. The Association must be financially self supporting but fund raising will not be a prime function and must in no way have influence on the programme of events.

Distribution of Surplus Funds

Although the Carnival does not function to raise funds, it has often been the case in past years, that there has been a surplus of funds after the Carnival has taken place. If you represent an organization which is based in Crowthorne or serves Crowthorne residents and would find extra money useful, you must present a bid for a share of these funds. This must be done in person at our AGM.
